We're delighted to share that Roberts & Co has funded a new set of training drill tops for Mill Hill Juniors Under 9 Greens. With the colder months closing in, the players can now train looking smart, feeling like a proper team and, most importantly, staying warm.
It's a small thing on paper, but anyone who has stood on a touchline on a frosty midweek evening knows how much a good warm layer matters to a young player.
Coached by one of our own
This sponsorship is especially close to our hearts because the Under 9 Greens are proudly coached by our very own Scott Hansekowitsch. Scott gives up his time week in, week out to help these young players develop their skills, build their confidence and, above all, enjoy their football.
We're incredibly proud of the commitment Scott shows both in the office and on the pitch, and we were thrilled to be able to back his team.
About Mill Hill Juniors
Mill Hill Juniors was founded in 1995 and has been serving the Blackburn and Darwen community ever since. For more than 30 years the club has given children and young people the chance to play football, with teams for every age group up to Under 16s.
The club is run by volunteers, coaches and parents who give up their time so young players can learn the game in a safe, supportive environment. Many children take their first steps in football with the club and stay right through to their teens.
Community is one of our values
Community is one of Roberts & Co's core company values, and supporting local groups like Mill Hill Juniors is part of how we live it. We aren't just here to help people buy, sell and let homes; we want to play an active part in the neighbourhoods we serve.
Over the years we've been proud to support a range of local community groups, and grassroots sport holds a special place for us. Clubs like Mill Hill Juniors bring families together, teach children teamwork and resilience, and give the whole area something to cheer about.
Part of the Ethical Agent Network
We're also proud members of the Ethical Agent Network. For us, being an ethical agent goes beyond how we conduct business; it's also about giving back and making a positive difference locally. Sponsoring teams like the Under 9 Greens is one of the ways we put that commitment into practice.
Good luck, Greens!
A huge thank you to Scott, the players, parents and everyone at Mill Hill Juniors who makes grassroots football happen. We wish the Under 9 Greens a fantastic season, and we look forward to seeing those drill tops out on the training pitch.
